If you find yourself capable of making nick nacks, you might want to direct your travels toward arts and crafts festivals. Check in with each festival as their permits may require different things from you. Much of our money is spent on accommodations when we travel. Cutting out this expense can keep us on the road longer, maybe even long enough to let that blog generate some income.

You can also look on Craigslist.org for temporary work..If you are traveling through big cities check out the gigs section. You can almost always find jobs that last a day or less. These jobs might include bartending a party or helping someone move out of an apartment. Their are many labor jobs, and the event section could land you free tickets to concerts for minimal work. You can even post resumes on craigslist, or ask if anyone has temporary work.

If you do not have a direct destination, a great way to find work is by traveling from festival to festival. Festivals are always looking for help. Whether it be for taking tickets, or cleaning the grounds. Just make sure to contact them early because these spots can fill up quick. If you plan ahead, you can work your way across the country. And if you are in a tight spot, just ask. People may be more generous then you think.
